Use of the site

You may read, print and share pages from this site for your own personal, non-commercial use, including taking a reference table into the field. You may not scrape the site wholesale, republish its tables or text as your own, present its content as another publication's, or use it to train a commercial model without permission. You may not attempt to disrupt the site or use it for anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

The text, tables, layout and design of this site belong to Cozy River Studios unless stated otherwise. Product names, brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively: mentioning a brand here does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by it. Product images are supplied through Amazon's product advertising catalogue and remain the property of their owners. Short quotations with a link back to the page are welcome.

Accuracy and no professional advice

Content is researched from published specifications, manuals and owner-review consensus, not from hands-on testing. Target ID figures, depth ranges, settings and metal values are estimates whose accuracy depends on conditions we cannot see. Nothing here is legal, financial, appraisal or safety advice. Your legal responsibilities when detecting

You alone are responsible for detecting lawfully: obtaining permission, avoiding protected land, reporting finds as required, calling the relevant utility location service before disturbing ground, and following the rules that apply where you are. Nothing on this site grants you permission to detect anywhere, and nothing here should be read as encouragement to detect on land where it is prohibited.
